“A Gicleé (zhee-klay) is a printing reproduction process providing better color accuracy than by other current means of reproducing oil paintings. A digital image of the painting is printed on canvas using a high quality 8-color or 12-color ink jet printer. The ink used is a pigment ink rather than a dye ink and is considered archival quality. The canvas is then treated with a water resistant coating that also provides UV protection. This canvas is then stretched on stretchers (or mounted on foam board for the smaller sizes). The Gicleés listed below are issued in limited editions of 100 per image regardless of sizes offered. Prices are based upon size and do not include frame, sales tax or shipping cost (if applicable).
